Three new openings in Germany

Segafredo café in EssenSegafredo Zanetti Germany are pleased to announce that in March this year they opened not one but three new cafés in different German cities: Essen, Heilbronn and Leipzig. With these new openings Segafredo Zanetti strenghtens its leadership in the German franchising outlet market.
The first café was opened on March, 5th in Heilbronn, near Stuttgart, inside the city gallerie located in the downtown. Through the windows of this authentic “Italian bar” all customers can enjoy a perfect view of the lively downtown area. From Monday till Saturday the dedicated team of baristis serve Italian coffee specialties and food to their customers.
The second Espresso bar was opened in Essen, not far from the Dutch border. Located inside the new modern Limbecker Platz, the biggest downtown shopping mall in Germany, there will be 200 stores in an area of 70.000m² after the opening of the second construction stage in fall 2009. Around 50.000 customers are expected every day.
The Segafredo Espresso Bar is located right in front of the food court with an open space of 35m². Around 450 cups of coffee are sold every day together with a wide range of Italian specialities like the “panini”, “cornetti” and “tiramisu”  becoming increasingly popular with the customers. 
The third café Segafredo Zanetti is located at the main station of Leipzig, the city where the "Peaceful Revolution" which lead to the reunification of Germany started in in 1989.
It was reopend on March 28th at the east side of the station, right across from the travel agency of Deutsche Bahn. The franchisee is SSP Deutschland, who is proud to serve the many travellers original Italian coffee specialities from 09.00 in the morning until midnight.
