Segafredo Zanetti Espresso has inaugurated a new, elegant café in Valparaíso, Chile’s most important seaport, situated in the central region of the country.
The harbour area probably represents the heart of that heritage which makes Valparaíso a unique city. It is considered the financial, port, business and touristy centre and, moreover, it is the most visited area in the region.
Valparaíso, protected as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, has always been considered as a bohémien and cosmopolitan city. It is one of the most ancient in all of Chile, its origins date from 1536 and in 2003 was declared to be Chile’s Cultural Capital by the Chilean Congress, housing the regional government, the most part of the regional departments and the Army of Chile.
The Segafredo Zanetti Espresso café, the first opened in the city, is located in Plaza de Armas, opposite Valparaíso’s port, surrounded by the most ancient and important public buildings.
The elegant boutique compliments the city with its daily servings of authentic Italian espresso to the many thirsty travellers.
